Candy Crush Deleted Progress

Ok, this one isn't for me, but for my mother...who is addicted to Candy Crush, but not tech savy in the least!

Anyway, she called me last night saying that she went to play candy crush, but her progress was gone and she was back at level one. I did some research, and found a lot of people are having the issue when linked to Facebook, which she doesn't have. She has no idea how it happened...one minute it was fine, and the next time she went to play it was messed up.

Does anyone have experience with this or any recommendations? I do not play this game, so I really know nothing about it. Thanks in advance!

I would log the game out of Facebook, uninstall the game from teh device. Then I would reinstall the game and re-log in Facebook.
