Moving a screen app

I have four pages of apps, and I downloaded one that appears on the last page, but I want it to be on the first. How do I move it? I tried holding it down until it wiggles, then dragging it, but it didn't seem to work.

You can either do it as you described above, or you can move it in iTunes on your computer and then sync.
