Yes, it's fine. The phone determines how fast to charge itself. The charging brick has nothing to do with it.

If you ask Apple, they'll say "no"...so they can sell you a pretty white Apple charging block.

But, the answer is "yes". Matter of fact, just like a Samsung charger I used to use with my BlackBerry devices...it charges your device a bit quicker than the OEM block.

It will charge at 5V and 2.0a
because the Samsung works with 2 modes and the iphone is not compatible with the fast charging mode of the samsung that uses 9V

No, so long as you use a quality charger.
