Why won't my iphone 6s open hyperllinks in safari or email?

Ever since the last IOS update a couple of nights ago, my phone won't open these hyperlinks. I have tried closing and restarting the apps, as well as turning off and restarting the phone. I don't know what else to try.

Have you emptied your cache lately? If not, try it. Go to Settings, go to Safari, scroll down to Empty History.... (scroll down, its third from bottom)
