Why doesn't my iPhone 6 save pictures?

my new iphone 6 does not save pictures

first time I tried photo it asked for my itune logo. I did not have it. Now it will not ask for my logon or save photo

Go to Settings > iCloud and make sure you are signed in with your ID. Then select Photos and enable iCloud Photo Library.
