This may be a dumb question, does the white iPhone color dirty over time really bad, I am a new iPhone user I have always had black phones. I just wanted some ideas.

I renew my phone every year and I always use the white face. Last two years I've got the gold. The white face has always remained beautiful with no discolouration.

I had my 5 for 15 months, no discoloration, looked the same as day 1.

I had my white 4S for 2yrs before passing it on to one of my kids, which now makes it going on 3 years old, and its still a bright white as it was the day it came out of the box

Any white-face devices I've seen don't have a problem. Still white after 2+ years of use.

As the previous posters have said my 5 was 2 years old and no change to the color of the white.

Actually I believe that was the reason the first white iPhone was delayed. Steve jobs wanted to make sure that the white material would stay white.

The reason apple delayed the white iPhone 4 was to prevent discoloration, and they have succeeded. My white iPhones have never changed color
