Restore or start from Scratch

Ok, so I have 311 apps, 339 songs, 115 videos 3428 pictures on my iPhone 5 and my iPhone 6 arrives on Friday.

Do I do a backup and restore or do I start from scratch?

I don't link my phone to my MAC I normally do an iCloud backup and thats all

your suggestions please.....

If you have your pics and videos backed up some other way -- Dropbox or OneDrive or iPhoto or some such -- start fresh.

If not, and if you want ready access to your existing photo library, then backup and restore.

The only reason to start from scratch is because thats what the guys at apple told me to do to fix my wifi problems.
