iPhone 6 plus vibration

I have just switched from the iPhone 6 to the 6 plus and have noticed that the vibration on the 6 plus is extremely loud and cheap sounding compared to the 6. Is this normal or do you think it could be a defective handset ?

No it's normal, all the iPhone 6 plus vibrates loud, it's a bigger phone and motor. I thought the same thing when I purchased mine.

Cheap sounding? The vibration of my iPhone 6 Plus is on par with the iPhone 4S I had years back, in my opinion. It definitely doesn't sound cheap to me.

I wouldn't say cheap, because I keep my 6Plus on vibrate most of the time, I appreciate the loudness. :yes:

I'm not sure what you mean by "cheap sounding," but it is much louder/stronger than the iPhone 6, yes.

Put a TPU style case on it and some of the vibration will be dampened.

I never hear my phone vibrate unless I'm close to it or its in my hand.

So went into apple today and they had a look at it, there was a problem with the motor which cause it to sound like it was rattling. Swapped the phone and sounds so much better!

I'm still trying to figure out what "cheap sounding" is.

My 6 Plus doesn't vibrate. It's an earthquake.

My 6 plus I don't notice it when it vibrates unless it is in my hand otherwise I barely notice it lol

I don't even hear or feel my 6 plus vibrate but my Mom just got the 6 and I can hear and feel the vibrate much more on hers.

Well they are cheap sounding if you compare them to dedicated speaker systems
