If your calendar is associated with an email account, just configure the email account on your new device. Afterwards, the calendar should sync to it.

Or toggle Calendars on in iCloud.

You can set your new iPhone so it does not use iCloud to sync calendars... then, connect to computer you were syncing the old phone to - and sync the new phone... this should get you your calendar data on the new phone... then, turn on iCloud and go forward from there.
