All four pics are unaltered except for the labeling. The 5S camera did pretty well with the low light photo. But, failed miserably at low light video recording. As you can see, even the iPhone 5 did better at low light video.

I have the same issue with low light video on my 5s. I posted a few comments on Ally's article.
I noticed it Sunday night in a decently lit banquet room. My 4s performed pretty good in low light video situations.

I have the same issue with low light video, but it's what I expect...even your more expensive SLR's have trouble with low light video just because of the nature of the design.

Based on Ally Kazmucha's A+B test the 5C performs better than the 5S in video low light situations. I would think it would be the opposite or it would be the same. There is a big difference in Ally's examples between the 5s low light and 5c lowlight video.

The 5S's video stabilization is better than the iPhone 5's. I noticed this while recording a video on my nephews 4 wheeler over this past weekend...it was much smoother than the videos I captured last year with the iPhone 5 (and the audio...primarily wind noise...seems to have been improved as well).
