Can I still update from 6.0 to 6.1.4 without ever going to iOS7?

This phone was never updated and I'm wondering if I can still update to iOS 6.1.4. I downloaded the firmware but am too scared to go through with the update because I'm not sure if Apple is still signing iOS 6. Thoughts?

No. I don't think that iTunes will accept that update. I'd be happy to be proven wrong though.

It won't work. It would just give you an error.

Stopped signing iOS 6 a long time ago. Either update to iOS 7 or stay put. Those are your ONLY options.
