    Default Need Help with Exchange

    I was using a gmail account set up through exchange and everything was fine. I changed my password on my gmail account 4 days ago. everything was fine until today.

    Now exchange prompts me for a password and I try the new and the old and it rejects the password.

    I can set the account up through the gmail option and it accepts the password and works fine, It just does not have the push option ... which I never understood.

    Is there something flaky with exchange these days ?? always worked with no problems before today....

    There shouldn't be, but it's possible. If you can logon to your gmail via a computer then you should be able to access it via your idevice whether using exchange or not. Try deleting the account via your idevice and then set it up again.

    If you set up two-step authentication, you need to use an app-specific password for email access on your mobile. If you don't use two-step, there shouldn't be an issue--maybe try setting it up again?

    (No exchange issues here, by the way.)
