Ok., Im overseas and using the Verizon 4S.

With a global Blackberry u can chose between CDMA or GSM. Is that possible with the Iphone 4 S or do I just let it decide which one to use?

Ive had some issues with using data overseas...and Im in a country with both CDMA and GSM

Any help would be sweetness....

if you are using BIS then you have to use blackberry phone i think.

Did you activate a global plan with vzw? Also make sure in settings > general > network you have voice (and data if you want) set to On.
