Double Voicemail Alerts

I had this same problem with my iPhone 4, but I don't remember how I solved it.

Every time I get a voice mail message, I get 2 pop-up and sound alerts. I only need one notification. Can someone remind me how to change this setting?

theres not a setting for this.. im not sure why your getting 2 notifications showing up but theres no setting on the phone to change this..

I have the same issue? very annoying and I hope Apple fixes it in their next update.

I believe it was fixable in iOS 4 but, for some reason, they have removed that setting adjustment in iOS 5.
