Hi everyone,

I searched around the forums to find an answer for this, but found nothing conclusive, so I thought I'd turn to you all for some help.

My work voicemail is delivered to me through email with a file attached. When I open these emails on my iPhone 4s it shows the attachment as a .wav file, with a Quicktime icon. When I click on the icon to download(stream?) the attachment it launches another program for less than a second (i assume it's quicktime), then goes away and puts me right back into the email message. Can someone please help me fix this so I can hear my work voicemails when I'm away from the office?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

It doesn't seem that you can play a wav file directly on the iPhone. The QuickTime icon is simply a placeholder stating that it's a media file. Sorry.
