Is there an App that will allow me to send smilies to other users that are not iphone users, my last phone allow me to do this to all user I would text.
It's a small thing, but the small things in life is what matters...

i dont think there is but you can always send : ) but emoji only works on iphone and i think android and blackberry phones

I use emoji and it works quite well, but I thought the other iPhone/Android/Blackberry had to have emoji too otherwise the amoticons look like random characters. Can anyone confirm this?

yes the other device must have emoji in order to know what the image is. It's like a font the other end has to have the same font or the other end.
