how to restore old photos and contacts from a previous backup?

hey everyone. i hope this question has an answer.

I have restored my iphone to factory settings with my 4.3.1 upgrade, and i dont want to restore from a back up.

i have two different backups that i would like to try and "extract" or somehow get my photos and contacts out of so i can load them into my phone.

is there a way to access this at all?

I was able to get my Contacts and several game saves using msb when one of my backups was corrupt.

I extracted the data files and ssh them into my jb iPhone.

Save your $20;

1. Restore from the backup you want.
2. Get photos and contacts off the iPhone.
3. Restore as new.
