Is my LCD broken?

I was fixing my ear piece the other day, replaced it. I reassembled everything back together and then the screen would not turn back on. I thought it was something damaged in the glass/digitizer, so i bought a new one and just installed it today, but it still wont turn on. the phone can receive calls and even vibrates when i switch from ringer on/off. could the LCD be damaged? it is not visibly damaged. how can i fix this? i already tried to reboot it with lock/home buttons held down.

check the veeerryyyy fine ribbon cables they sound like their unplugged..or since u have a 1 yr warranty bring it to apple? unless it older..

Connection

Seems like the screen might be missing a connection to something. Might want to check all the connections inside the phone.

I have no warranty on the iphone. I've checked all the ribbon cables, i dont even know how much more i can check them. they all seem to be fine.
