Any way to video chat with a person on a computer?

I'm wondering if there's currently any way to video chat with someone on a computer. As far as I know, Fring is the only app that supports video chat, but video is only available for Fring contacts (i.e. only people who have Fring on their mobile phones).

Is there any way to video chat without requiring an iPhone or Fring-compatible device?

I'm hoping that Skype includes video chat soon, or that Fring adds support for Google Talk or MSN or something...

Does anyone know something I don't?

Fring is already out and was able to be used with skype at first but Skype disabled it. If there's a Fring desktop client it will work, I'm not sure if there is.

I haven't found a Fring desktop client.

You know, it claims to work on MSN, ICQ, Yahoo!, Gtalk, AIM.

If you get the chance try using Fring with MSN or others and starting video chat with someone.

It might work.

I actually have tried, but it says it can't video chat with users who aren't on Fring.

The closest thing I have seen to use the iphone as a webcam is downloading Qik, and broadcasting live.
