When selling a 3GS...

Is it neccesary to remove the sim card, since my new phone (hopefully iPhone 4) will be activated? Or is ok to leave the sim card installed and just remove do a clean restore? Reply back if you can--greatly appreciated!

How do you erase the 3G phone so if you want to sell it?

Lazerbyte,

Go to Settings, General, Reset and choose Erase all content and settings, then shut it off and ship it off to the buyer after removing sim card
