Reservation Reminder Email

Almost as soon as IOS4 went live I got an email from Apple reminding me to pick my iPhone 4 up at the store on the 24th. This is a GOOD sign. Sweeeet!!! Can't wait. Anyone else get the email?

Got the same one. It reads:

When you come in to pick up your iPhone 4, you'll be directed to a line for those with reservations. We'll have Specialists ready to transfer your contacts, set up email, and help you get apps so your iPhone is just the way you like it. We look forward to seeing you at the store.

I got the same exact thing. There was some mention in the email of some people being quoted an incorrect price when they made the reservation so I thought Apple was going to pull the bait and switch on me but the link they provided showed the same price.

Yep, I just got my reservation conformation a few minutes ago. There are so many people who didn't get in on the June 24th release date. Somehow I feel very fortunate.

I can't tell you how excited I am. I thought that I had one reserved on the 15th because I got through one time successfully for an in-store reservation on the 24th. However, I never got a confirmation number or an order number by email, so I thought that it never actually went through. By the time I was able to order one on the 16th, it was slated for delivery on 7/2.

Lo and behold, however, I just got an email from Apple reminding me of my reservation on the 24th. I feel like a little kid a Christmas.

Got my reminder email as well. Clicked the link to double check the price (since mine was wrong on the original confirmation), and it now shows the correct price. YAY!!!

My wife's email reminder listed one phone. Her initial email listed both that she reserved. She called the store and they said there is indeed two only after they first said one. Guess we'll be printing that email just in case.

Nothing for me yet. I have the email I received on the 15th shortly after I reserved the phone, and I just checked the Apple Store app on my 3G and it still shows my reservation, but still no "reminder" email. I gotta say, even though I'm 95% sure I'll get my phone on the 24th with no issues, I won't be 100% happy until I have it in my hand. The fact that there are reminder emails going out and I haven't yet received one makes me the slightest bit antsy.
