bluetooth issues with my car head unit.....

Hi guys,
I have just installed a new Stereo head unit(Clarion FZ709A) in my car. The bluetooth seems to pair well with my 3G iphone, however, I am unable to transfer my address book to the stereo. This means, when ever I receive a call, the display on the stereo head unit only displays "unknown number". I spoke with Clarion, and they have said that iphone doesnt have an application to transfer the address book( or commonly known as 'push information') to my head unit. Is this true? Is there another way to do this?

The headset has to support syncing of contacts via Bluetooth in order for it to work. No separate application is required.
