Electrical shock

Hi,

my 13 mths old iphone 3g gives me a mild electrical tingle when touched at its metal rim while being charged. Its there even if I charge it using the data cable with the laptop. I almost dropped it when a call came in while it was charging.

Any ideas what may be wrong ?

BTW, I'm in india.

I have the same experience with my iPhone 3G too

Problem is that in india apple has outsourced services of iPhone to the VSP, that is Airtel and Vodafone. Now getting a respectable service done through either of them is like moving a mountain.

Meanwhile I found on some mac forums that the 3g has this issue and whoever had it got a replacement.
