Mobile mr alias?

Does anyone know of a way to send email from the iPhone using an alias on your mobile me acct? I can't seem to figure out how to do it.

The only way per se', is to use an SMTP! For example, I have an ME account, BUT, I reply to emails as if I'm using my Gmail account. Make sense?

In the options of that account, add an SMTP for Gmail, then set it as default for the ME account.

You can't.

But you can send as a second account, but then all replies go to that second account.

Ok, so the second acct has to be something other than a .me acct. That stinks. I just started using mobile me alias's and really like them. I was hoping for a way to send emails from my phone that way too. Oh well.

An idea...

On your iPhone, go to settings \ mail \ me account - in account info, change your current username to the ACTIVE alias that you chose. See if that works...
