Mail App problem iOS 10

iPad iOS 10,

Select an account, pull down to search, after search returns can no longer select another account or do another search.

Have to terminate Mail app and restart to get a usable mail client.

Anyone else?

Works for me, are you using a specific email account/provider?
Is it imap or something else?

Mine is now having issue with Gmail (through 3rd party mail) and through the Apple iOS mail app. . I just had to remove gmail and set up again. Would not validate gmail.

Mine is good. Gmail is finally not on a delay when retrieving mail.

Does ios 10 do push for Gmail again? I never checked it when I was on beta.

Nevermind, it doesn't. Still the same Fetch or Manual options only. No push.

I use the search function regularly via the native Mail app and I've yet to experience what you've described. In fact, I just did a search in the manner you stated and was able to switch accounts and do additional searches without a problem.

I have the same problem (my main account is hotmail)

Also, I don't have the arrows to move to next/previous email any more - they are still there on my iPhone. I must be missing something obvious, when you're in portrait mode, how do you move to the next email?

Yep: I have the same problem when searching in iOS mail. Get trapped without search or return button and have to terminate the app.

The recent 10.10.1 update mentioned a fix for mail search. This could also fix your issues.
