What are the thoughts about locking older threads. We often see new people who come to the forums that respond to threads that have laid dormant for 6 months, 1 year or more - in one case there was a new comment (that basically repeated an answer already provided) to a thread that was almost 3 years old.
I'd suggest finding a way to auto-lock threads that have not been updated in 2 or 3 months. It might actually force n00bs to actually post to current threads.
