Any way to silence iMessage?

Is there a way to silence the little whoop that goes off after sending a message. It is really annoying in any quiet situation.

Where there is a will there is a way. If you're jailbroken my friend...

You can SSH or otherwise into the phone and replace the sound file with a silent one and restart. I think it's SentMessage.caf... in /System/Library/Audio/UISounds but haven't checked it. I could be wrong as to the specific file and folder but you can figure out which one it is simple enough.
