Why aren't all my iCloud photos being transferred to my new iPhone when I have lots of space?

why isnt all my icloud photos being transferred to my new iphone when i have lots of space

i have connected my new phone to my icloud and for some reason it is not uploading all of my photos from my icloud even with 64 gb...
how can i get them all onto my phone?

Depending on how many photos you have, give it time to sync. Also, if you're not connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi, your pics may not sync.

Welcome to iMore! Also make sure you have iCloud Photo Library enabled in Settings > iCloud > Photos
