I'm glad I'm not alone in noticing that the device is a tad bit zippier/quicker.

No issues here so far, and I agree that my 6 seems zippier and the touch ID is more responsive.
I updated through iTunes...don't know if that makes a difference.

I hate the Facebook app so use the safari browser instead. When I try to upload a pic I still get the message "sorry, photo uploading isn't available for Safari on iOS 8 just yet. We've notified Apple and are working together to fix this. Please try again later."

Always have to make thing difficult...

What issue in Safari with uploading photos? I don't understand.
The "choose file" button on some sites was not responsive. I have problems in Safari still. When I type the letter D, the page freezes.

Freezes when logging in. Always on the D. You doing this, D? :D

I don't use the Facebook app. I use an app called Paper.

I just finished downloading and testing iOS 8.0.2 ( I skipped iOS 8.0.1), and all is well. My 5s is running GREAT, smoother and faster.

8.0.2 borked my 5S.

Was on 8.0. Tried OTA update to 8.0.2 on a VZW 5S 64GB. Appeared to install, but when the phone rebooted, I had the "no service" issue folks had reported from 8.0.1. Then a message popped up saying 8.0.2 was available. I checked my settings, and it showed I was still on 8.0. So, I clicked "Install". It went into "Verifying Update" immediately, then right into DFU. I'm in the process of a restore from iCloud backup. :(

I guess stuff happens. Hope all goes well with the restore.

I have problems with the native calender.

All day event gets two dates, for instance start on Wednesday, end on Thursday when I make an all day event for Thursday.
I made that event without alerts but when I opened the event to change something my 2 standard alert times were switched on!
I tried to delete the event on Wednesday (several times) and the app crashed.
I manually changed Wednesday in Thursday and that solved the problem with one all day event on Thursday.
Could repeat this bug with an all day event on Sunday.
