i tried to facetime a friend and got an unavailable to answer message. Why

If my friend was on facetime with another caller, what message would I get if I tried to facetime too?

It means that the person you attempted to FaceTime either does not have FaceTime enabled or his or her device was off or not connected to the Internet.
