How do I stop SOME Periscope alerts, I DON'T want to follow friends of friends?

Stopping SOME Periscope alerts. I DON'T want to follow friends of friends.

OK, so I am annoyed with TOO MANY ALERTS on periscope. Say I only have one person I follow, I ONLY want an alert when THEY BROADCAST! I don't care about their friends broadcasting.
