OS 4.0 Installation Question

So I have a Mac, and got the OS 4.0 beta when it first was released.

I found out you needed 10.6.3 in order to install it.

Finally got my mac upgraded, and installed the update to my Mac.

How do I actually update my phone now?

I clicked, check for updates, and it's not finding any updates.

The Dev I got the beta from has already added my iPhones ID...

It must be done via Xcode. You have to get the newest beta from the dev. Hurry or else your phone will die when the current beta expires.

You can also do it via iTunes. You option click restore, and then select the file. You must do restore and not upgrade.

The Dev release notes with the new Beta state you should install the new SDK too as there could be problems with restoring from a back up

I did mine via iTunes. I don't know how to do it via Xcode. Would be a good tutorial for someone.
