Question regarding ATT Iphone 4s on Tmobile

Hello everyone,

I wanted to know if I get an IPhone 4s branded ATT and unlock the phone and place a Tmobile simcard in it will it work?

Based on what I have read it will work, but here is what I want to know will the ATT 4s be able to use Tmobile's HSPA+ or will be as slow as the post office?

An unlocked AT&T iPhone will work only on T-Mobiles EDGE service. Also, everything will work except MMS.

I have a factory unlocked 4S and use it with my prepaid T-Mobile sim card. I've done the setting changes asnd even called their support team, we were unable to get MMS to work on my iPhone. Also, I have researched this on many other sites and haven't come across one yet in which they all got MMS to work. It is frustrating because MMS does work on my red AT&T unlocked Motorola RAZR V3XX. I simply sent the settings to my RAZR and MMS worked perfect.

iMessage works perfectly on a unlocked 4S. No issues at all with that.
