Data Only, No mins?

I currently have a blackberry with just the data and no mins.I wanted to upgrade since my contract is up. I looked online and I have to pick a rate plan. Can I have a iPhone with only data?

your going to have to call them and find out.. I know you can't do it through the website.

Not trying to be smart @$$ but if you don't want mins. Why not get an iPad2 with 3G?

I think only way is if you are disabled to be able to get data only as I recall.

There was a data only plan available 2 years ago, however, it wasn't advertised and I'm not sure if AT&T still has it any more.

I currently have another phone that I use all my minutes on, an ipad with data plan and an iphone with a data would probably be the same thing but a smaller screen. I just wanted to know was it possible with the iphone I might just call and find out.

No 3G and inferior camera are two big reasons off the top of my head. I'm with the OP; if I could get data only on my iPhone 4, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

At one time I recalled Verizon offering the iPhone 4 with only a data plan. This was sometime back in the summer iirc.
