Why does iTunes not recognize my Apple ID with its password ?

Everytime i want to access my iTunes on my apple TV, it does not recognize my Apple ID together with its password. It works fine on the PC, iPhone and to access Apple TV itself, but not iTunes. Why is that?

I don't know. Try entering your Apple ID and passcode via the TV remote app, if you haven't already.
