why can't I read the notes field on my contacts in IOS 10

downloaded IOS 10 now notes are no longer readable due to "send message, share contact, add to favorites and create medical ID" being written over them won't scroll down to let me read the notes

When I view a contact from within the native Contacts app on my iPhone in iOS 10, the notes section is there above the "Send Message" and the other options therein. Having said that, try rebooting your device to see if it fixes the problem.
