iPhone won't turn on even though fully charged.

This is a new phone. It is fully charged but I think it needs to be re-booted. How do I remove the battery?

If it is a "new" iPhone, take it to the nearest Apple Store and have them swap it out.

Welcome to iMore! You cannot remove an iPhone battery and I wouldn't recommend trying on a new device as it will void your warranty. Reset your device by holding the power button and home button down simultaneously until you see the Apple boot logo. If that doesn't work, do as @Just_Me_D said and visit an Apple Store. You can also contact Apple Support if you don't live near a store.
