How to logout of email

I use a laptop for some things and the iPad for some, but I do access my email with both. My pc got a virus and my email got hacked. Have run into a problem resetting the password. I think part of the problem might be because I can't logout of the email on the iPad. How do I log out of the email on the iPad?

You don't "log out".

Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select that email address > select "Delete Account"

As far as I know you can not logout. You can make the account inactive or delete it. Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tap on the account you want inactive. When it opens tap on Account and turn it off. That will make the account inactive. Or you can scroll to the bottom and delete the account. You could try putting in a fake password and ignore the warnings. Then when you want it to start again put in the correct password.
