How to fix iPhone 6 Plus flashing home screen even when turned off?

It's not in reboot cycle (repeated Apple logo). The phone works fine, Touch ID is working, wifi, bt and network is good...everything else works fine. But when turned off(not shut down) the screen will light up again after a few minutes and goes off. It does this repeatedly on its own.

Welcome to iMore! It could be a hardware issue (which can be solved doing an iTunes restore and observing the behavior, or lack of) or, and this is going to sound funny, I've heard of this happening from lint/water/dirt trapped in the Lightning port. Use something to clean it out (compressed air, vacuum, blow into it, etc.).
Hopefully that works. If not, let us know and we can go from there.
