Why is my iphone 6 stuck in landscape mode?

I've had the phone for a year and it's never happened before. Seems to be stuck in landscape mode in messaging and e-mail so far.

You may want to try simply do a hard reset by holding down the power button and home button until you see the Apple boot logo. It could just be iOS glitching out on you temporarily. It happens from time to time and can often be solved by the age old "turn it off, then turn it back on" method.
