Why does my Handoffs drop out?

Whenever I am connected to WIFI on my iPhone 6, handoff works perfectly fine. However, once I open iTunes, handoff drops out. If I turn my phone off, and then turn it back on, it connects and I am able to sync any new content such as music that has been put onto iTunes. How do I stop this from happening, so that I do not have to reboot my iPhone every single time I want to sync it again over WIFI to put any new music onto it?

I’ve had this same type of thing happen, but I just toggle my Wi-Fi and all is good.
