When I try to open an app, it flashes & goes back to the homescreen. WHY?

I am trying to play Scrabble and when I open the app, it won't open & returns to the homescreen.

There's possibly an issue with your copy of the app on the device... Try deleting and reinstalling the app... Or, there's an issue with the iOS on your device that can be solved by restoring the iOS on your device... Or, there's an issue with the app the developer has to fix and you just have to wait for the update.
