Why aren't my photos on Facebook showing up?

Photos app is driving me crazy

I am trying to get used to this app since it is the future but it is driving me crazy.

I can transfer pics from my iPhone to my Mac and they show up in the app no problem. When I go to attach them to something, like a Facebook post, they do not show up in the attachment drop down. The latest pics are just not there. I even tried searching and they don't show up.

The other thing driving me nuts is the Photos drop downs all start with the oldest. Is there a way to sort newest to oldest?

Thanks for that link. I went through it, plus Google and still can't find the answer.

Even the help section of Photos mostly refers to iPhoto.

Is there any way to sort pictures so newest is on top, especially when pulling them from Finder to use as an attachment?

I did solve the part about missing pictures not showing up in Finder. I noticed deleted pics were in Finder but not Photos and new pics were in Photos but not Finder. I rebooted and that problem went away so I am assuming a cache issue.
