How do I set alerts on my calendar?

Setting alerts on my calendar

When I set up an appt. alert I like to do my First Alert a day before then my second alert an hour or so before. But every time I put these in, it takes my phone 5, 6, 7 times to record exactly the alerts I want.

Each time it switches my alerts and I have to go back and edit and start all over again. What's the trick to getting it correct the first time?

I haven't experienced anything like that so I'm unaware of a trick to getting it done correctly the first time. Try rebooting your phone. I assume it's an iPhone.
