How do I reactivate iMessage?

Reactivating imessage

I turned my iMessage off the other day, and when I went to turn it back on it says that it's waiting for activation. And in the send and recieve tab it has my email in bold by my phone number is in gray. I tried using my email to iMessage and it still won't let me.

It can take a day or two for iMessage to reactivste if it gets turned off, it can also take a day or two to deactivate. Leave it turned on and wait about 24 hours, if it still doesn't come back then contact Apple about it.
