my phone currently displaying visual voicemail is currently unsavailable how do i remove that?

Looked at phone today IPHONE 4S and in the voicemail tap there is a bar on top that says ' Visual Voicemail is currently unavailable. Call Voicemail'. How do I remove that I do not want video voicemail and never had it before.

It's visual voice mail... It's basically a graphical user interface to a voicemail service... You can try rebooting the phone.
