Can I have 2 TV guide apps on my iPad?

i have a TV Guide app on my iPad. My 92 year old mother lives on the other side of the country and so has a different service provider. She relies on me to tell her what shows are coming up. Is there any reason I shouldn't download a second TV Guide app for her region? I haven't tried it because I don't want to "confuse" my iPad.
