How can I get 3G to work on my device?

I've done the restore and that worked find but it won't connect to my 3g ?
or cellular.
it said i've got signal but , i've got the bars but nothing comes through, my safari, face book, emails, I checked and compare with my old one but nah can't work it out.

On what device are you trying to get 3G/cellular to work?
