How do I identify an unlocked iPhone 6 phone.

Need to be able to know so that I don end up buying a locked phone that does not work in my country.

Any model you buy at full retail price is unlocked. The Verizon model, when bought outright is compatible with all GSM and CDMA carriers as far as I know. The T-Mobile and AT&T models are compatible with all GSM carriers when bought at full price as well.
