How to change a name

When I send a email it goes through as my moms name and I want to change it so when I send a email it comes up as my name and not my moms name I think I does that because when I set up the email my mom did it so so might of put her name in instead of mine name

For most email settings, you will need to log into the web based settings and change the name there. During the iPhone setup, it only asks for email address and password and brings the settings in from the mail server.

It depends on the email service being used.

Go into Settings > 'Mail Contacts Calendars' > scroll to the email account and select it > then select 'Account' > and look for a field called 'Name' and change it there.

Or create an entirely new email account with your own password and name. Go to Settings >Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Add Account>choose from Outlook, Gmail (Google) etc. Follow directions.
